Back from the Oblivion
Yes! Yes! Warmageddon is still rolling along. We are working on a new web site and have stockpiled quite a bit of stories. All shall be revealed no later than Heroes Con in June.

End of the Year Lull
With Baltimore Comicon being the last convention of the year for us here at Warmageddon, we've now entered the end of the year lull. That doesn't mean that there isn't any thing going on, it just means that we aren't hyping stuff as much.
We are still working on working on Warmageddon Quarterly. We are still working on the Asar graphic novel. We are still working on new web strips. So in short we are still working.

Baltimore Comicon!!!
Once again Jámal will be making the trek from Durham, NC to Baltimore, MD for the Baltimore Comicon. There is a great list of guest that I'm proud to be part of.
The Warmageddon table will be part of set of tables (#30-32) featuring Warmageddon, the Living Corpse and the Fist of Justice. Sitting behind the tables will be Jámal and fellow Warmageddon creators (Mike Imboden [creator of the Fist of Justice], Dominic Vivona [co-winner of the 2007 Comic Book Challenge], Ken "The Living Corpse" Haesar, and Buz "The Living Corpse" Hasson.) Drop by and support myself and the other independent comic creators.
At the Warmageddon table, Jámal will have original art, Warmageddon Quarterly, lots of prints featuring Warmageddon characters by artists like Mike "Hysteria" Hawthorne, Stephen "Welcome to Tranquility" Molnar, Roberto "Ms. Marvel, Iron Man" de la Torre, Cal "Shades of Blue" Slayton, and many others. Eirian and Orumil Invade Digital Webbing
When summer comes to
Digital Webbing, it means it's time for the annual Draw-Off tournament. This year's tournament involved 4 previously un-drawn strips from E and O season 2. Beloew are some of the top drawings, click ion the image to see the other entries for that script.
After seeing the art below, it took us very little time to offer DW user OZ! aka Tyler Richlen a chance to pencil the upcoming Season 3 over E and O.
In other E and O news, Jason Williams will be returning (in his spare time) to pencil the remaining strip from season 2 and will be drawing a couple covers to the E and O comic book.
So keep your eyes peeled for more Eirian and Orumil.

Not Any Asar at All Thursday
First things, first ... we'd like to thanks all the Warmageddon fans that went out and voted for Gunplay. Jorge and Dominic put together a great project and they very much deserve all the votes they received. Oh yeah... they won, so congrats to Jorge and Dominic and keep an eye out for Gunplay. Of course, that means there will be no more Warmageddon art from Dominic in the near future, but that's okay as we're all happy to for Dominic because he's such a great guy.
Enough talk about Gunplay, let's get to the next topic which is ...

Asar Gunplay Thursday
Normally... we'd be showing something Warmageddon related and on Thursday something Asar related ... but today we have something special,
Gunplay.
Gunplay is a story brought to you by Warmageddon creators, Jorge Vega (Ahead of the Game) and Dominic Vivona (In Forest Kirby Lives the Tribe of Drakul) as part of the
2007 Comic Book Challenge. Normally, this is where we would go in depth describing the comic, but since this is their baby we're going to let the the work do it for them.
Saddlewood, nickle and blood; folks say that's how the West was won. For one man, Abner Meeks, that';s how his soul was lost. Gunplay is a haunting, bullet riddled tale of a Buffalo soldier condemned to roam the Big EMpty with a hellish curse slung at his waist -- a demonic shooting iron that forces Abner to kill once a day or suffer soul searing pain. His only salvation lies in earning the trust of a boy he's never met, a boy with an agonizing secret of his own... and Abner his just gunned down that boy's father. |

The Return of Shane Nitzsche
Shane Nitzsche was one of the early artist of Warmageddon. He's responsible for number of designs including Tiegre. He left a while ago to pursue other opportunities and now he's back and working on a short Warmageddon story (Raven's Town) written by Stephen Forbes. Below are a few pages of thumbnails by Shane.
